Ohio’s TechCred Program empowers employers to upskill their current and future workforce for today’s technology-driven economy by providing direct financial assistance for training. This workforce initiative helps employers develop in-demand technical skills, strengthen talent pipelines, and enhance the overall competitiveness of Ohio’s economy.
TechCred’s new and improved framework delivers a sharper technology‑focused credential definition, updated employer eligibility requirements, an improved training timeline, and a newly developed list of eligible training providers. Businesses awarded funding through TechCred may be reimbursed up to $1,000 per employee, per credential, with a maximum award of $30,000 per application period, helping employers strengthen their talent pipelines and build a more competitive, tech‑ready workforce.
